A Little About the Photographer

I love capturing moments of everyday life, whether that day is just your typical run-of-the-mill day, or something a little more special, like a wedding day or long-overdue family reunion. I feel blessed for the chance people give me to share in those memories, and for the opportunity to capture those times through photography.

I tend to do more candid photography, but also do posed shots when the situation calls for it. People tend to look more natural and relaxed when they aren't posed, and if you can get them to forget that a camera might be aimed their way, all the better! :)

I'm currently based out of Harnett County, North Carolina, but travel to surrounding counties and beyond to photograph a little bit of everything: children, individuals, families, weddings, events, pets, architecture and landscapes.

When not behind the camera (or at the computer, editing images), I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two huskies, and our families. Trying out new recipes, reading, writing, scrapbooking, and decorating gets thrown in there from time to time, too. :)
